Bill Bliss is the founder and president of Bliss & Associates. Throughout his coaching and consulting career, Bill has helped CEOs, company presidents, vice presidents, and directors across many disciplines with leadership coaching, teambuilding, leadership development, succession planning, and strategic planning. His work has been with Fortune 500 companies as well as family run and privately held companies across the United States
Prior to establishing the company over 20 years ago, he was a partner in a consulting firm and has held divisional and corporate leadership positions at companies such as Squibb Pharmaceutical Corporation, Emery Worldwide, Fidelity Investments, and Reader’s Digest.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a Founding Partner and Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team. He is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker, and is one of the most sought-after executive coaches for business leaders in the Eastern part of the United States. The John Maxwell Certification for coaching is one of the most rigorous coaching certification programs available globally. He is also certified in using the Caliper Profile™, one of the most insightful personality profiles available in the industry.
Judy Bliss has been a senior consultant for Bliss & Associates for over 10 years, specializing in executive coaching, staffing, and career counseling. She serves as an executive coach to manager and director level individuals within an array of corporate industries. Additionally, Judy brings 20 years of corporate public and private company experience to her role. She has worked for such companies as BP Amoco/Castrol Oil, Gillette/Duracell, Reader’s Digest Association, BMI/McGraw-Hill, and Control Data Corporation. She has held a variety of HR positions, ranging from international director to head of staffing. As a result, she has extensive experience in resource planning and staffing, employee and leadership development, employee relations, and outsourcing in changing and progressive environments.
In addition, Judy has managed several organizational integrations and redesigns due to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; led the development of a values and competencies program; and partnered with management on human capital planning, placement, performance, development, compensation, and communication initiatives.
Judy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor and has her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling.
